Laughter is the best medicine

I like to find something to laugh about in stressful situations. In time, there's almost always something to laugh about—if not now, someday. I think it's good to remember, "don't compare how you feel on the inside with how everyone else appears on the outside. Everyone probably thinks that everyone else is doing fine! I live with panic disorder. Doing what I love to do helps and someday I might make money!?! Biofeedback and Zoloft are my friends! My Dad would always say, "It won't matter 100 years from now!" That kind of takes the stress away and puts things into perspective.

I take the attitude that I can help someone by understanding what they are going through, since I've been through it. Samuel Clemens wrote that the best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer up someone else. It's good to reach out in any way you can.
